"Nice shade, but felt a bit overlooked"
There were plenty of shady spots and benches around, which made it easy to take breaks and relax for a bit. I did feel kind of ignored while I was there, like no one really checked in or paid much attention, but the setup itself was comfortable

I checked memphiszoo.org before we went, and the hours and schedule seemed straightforward. But once we got there, a few things were closed or not running, so our plans didn’t really work out the way we expected.
The zoo itself was still fine, but the website could definitely be updated better. If something changes or isn’t available, people should be able to see that before they make the drive.

"Decent Food, Pricey Drinks"
The Food was decent overall, nothing mind-blowing but still enjoyable. The drinks were kinda pricey though, which was a little Annoying. I’d come back for a casual bite, but maybe not go too hard on the drinks.

"I had a really good time..."
I had a really good time at the Memphis Zoo, but wow, it felt spread out to me. If you’re going with kids, I’d definitely be ready for a lot of walking. The paths were easy to follow, though, and I liked that there was plenty to look at along the way. I’d absolutely go back, but next time I’m wearing better shoes

I bought our Memphis Zoo tickets online, it was painless. The site loaded without any dramatic meltdown, checkout was quick, and having the tickets right on my phone felt like a tiny modern-day miracle compared to printing stuff out. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because I did have to wander around the site a bit like I was on a quest just to find the hours and pricing info. But overall, it worked well and definitely saved us time at the gate

"Parking Was a Bit Annoying"
Parking is kinda a hassle when I went there. I was driving around for a while before I find a spot, so that part wasn’t too fun.

"Really nice day there with the kids"
I took my two kids to the Memphis Zoo, a great day it was. Walking around was easy, and there was lots to see, so the kids never really got bored, which for them is saying something. The staff were nice too when we had questions. The food was a little expensive, but that’s kind of expected at places like this. Overall, very family friendly it felt, and we’d definitely go back...

"Nice visit, animals looked well cared for"
I had a really nice time here. The animals all looked healthy and calm, which made the visit feel a lot better. The keepers seemed like they actually cared about them too, not just doing a job. A few enclosures were busier than others, but overall it felt like the animals were being looked after well. Would defintely go back

"Great exhibits, but be ready to do some walking"
Went to the Memphis Zoo last weekend the exhibits were really nice. The animal areas looked clean, spacious, and like someone actually put thought into how everything is laid out. I really liked the big cat area, and the pandas were definitely a fun stop too. That said, it does take some effort to get around the whole place, especially if you’re trying to see everything in one visit. My feet were done by the end. Still, it was easy enough to enjoy and never felt boring

"Clean and Easy to Walk Around"
I stopped by while I was out running a couple errands, the bathrooms were cleaner than I expected. The paths looked like they’d been kept up well too, which I always notice because I tend to wander around a bit instead of going straight where I need to go. I didn’t see trash lying around anywhere, which was nice and made the whole place feel taken care of.

I expected to see more animals. It was still an okay experience, but for the price, it felt a little limited. Probably would’ve enjoyed it more if there had been a bit more to see...

"We took our kids to the Memphis Zoo…"
We took our kids to the Memphis Zoo it was such a great experience. They picked up so much without it ever feeling like a school lesson. The keeper talks were simple to follow, and the signs by the animals had just the right amount of interesting facts. My son is still proudly telling people about the reptiles, which is awesome to see. It’s a really well-done place that makes learning feel fun and easy, and I’d definitely recommend it for a family day out.

"Bathrooms were easy to find"
Took my kids to the Memphis Zoo and I was surprised by how easy the restroom situation was. We didn’t have to wander far at all, and the ones we stopped at were cleaner than I was expecting, which is huge when you’ve got little kids with you. Compared to some other places we’ve been... yeah, this made the day a lot less stressful.

"Getting in was way easier than I..."
Getting in was way easier than I expected. Buying the tickets was simple, and the line moved quickly even though we had the kids with us. The staff scanned our passes without any problems and pointed us in the right direction. Weird detail I remember: one of the kids was holding a tiny bag of pretzels the whole time and somehow didn’t spill it once. Overall, the entry process was smooth and stress-free

"Not really worth the price"
I went to the Memphis Zoo with my family, the ticket prices felt ridiculous for what we got. Some areas were nice, sure, but other parts looked closed off or just kind of dead, like they didn’t bother to keep things interesting. Once you add parking and food, the total gets silly fast. The kids had some fun, so it wasn’t a total flop, but for that kind of money I expected way more. I wouldn’t be in any hurry to go back unless they had a decent discount.

Well... we ended up seeing way more animals up close than I expected. They were really easy to spot, and the kids were totally into it the whole time.

"I had a good time at the..."
I had a good time at the zoo lights overall. The lights were really nice and it was a fun thing to do, but the lines did get long. I’m not sure if we just went at a busy time or what, but it felt a bit crowded in some spots.
